More than twenty years ago wife and husband team, Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, discovered Dansko's first product in a tiny store in Europe. They realized that a simple pair of clogs would not only change their lives, but that of everyone who might wear them. So, believing that when you have something great you share it, they gave pairs to friends. Then their friends told their friends. And just like that, a comfort legend was born! Today, Dansko is a 100% employee-owned company based in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania that offers a complete line of footwear - heels, boots, sandals, wedges, flats and many, many types of clogs. Every pair is infused with legendary Dansko all-day comfort and support.
I love this style and retired Soltice style

This is a perfect shoe because it is a very classy and dressy clog. Unlike some of the other clogs, which look very industrial or clunky, the Tamara has a seam (down the front of the shoes) and buckle on the side which add a refined detail.I will continue to purchase this style, until it is retired. (This is what I think Dansko used to replace the Solstice model.)
My dislike
By Rosalyn, from United States | February 11, 2014
The shoe looks good. My dislike is that is is rigid that it would take forever to naturally get it to mold to my foot. I had to put a shoe stretcher in the shoes. There is no cushion inside. They are made to work in since their are reference as professional.
Wonderful

I have very difficult feet to purchase shoes for,, one is almost about 1/2 size larger than the other. These shoes do not make my feet hurt like all the others I have tried. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting.
i give this second BLS store four stars only because i have been to the south street location as well, so i know what their selection is really like. but it is nice having a BLS closer to home, because I like their shoe selection. It isnt INSANE or anything, but i usally want about 20 pairs of shoes when i walk in there, so the selection works for me.They carry brands from campers to that Israeli sandal brand whose name i cant remember but starts with an N. Anyhow, they can vary from super fancy to very casual, and i usually love most of what they have. Prices are steep but for good shoes you have to fork over some dough, so whatever. Staff are friendly, attentive, and a little sassy which is always awesome. They know their stuff and are always willing to give you their opinion.
